Since I have heard so much good things from this mics, I contacted Brad/TransAm, who I guess distributes these mics.
I got the impression that these mics are not meant for everyone.
I am from Finland and I asked if they have distribution here.
Brad wrote that he finds out.
In the meantime he wrote me that "they need someone who can help them with the message" and asked if I am interested in buying all 4 of their mics (251, new E47, E67 (now called U99) and EFET 47 (now called U195).
I explained to him that I cannot afford them all, but would probably buy 251 and 67 if he could give me a reasonable price.
I have sent him several mails, but haven't heard from him ever since.
It's been about a month.
I am very disappointed to all this.
But I am still interested in these mics.
Anybody know where I could buy them?

Why did you contact a US distributor if you are in Finland?

The only people they are not "meant" for are people who do not desire great sound.

So far so good...

You should be damned flattered. First of all, that Brad felt enough faith in you to ask you to be a Finish dealer, or maybe you misunderstood him and he told you that he needs someone to have 4 demo models to be able to show in your area. Either way, he did the right thing.

They don't sell direct to end users, they sell direct to dealers, hence their "distribution" title...

TransAmerica Audio has been extremely busy this month more than you could ever imagine between business picking up by about 300% from Sept and all the recent national/regional trade shows. I'd imagine they haven't stopped going 110% since Oct 1. You should have contacted your regional or northern European resellers to find out where to by buy the mics. Soundelux has a office in London, perhaps that would be better.

As it turns out I got a mail from Brad yesterday where he explained the situation.
It took so much time because they were at AES and then Surround Pro in LA.
On top of that David was on holiday.
Regarding the 4 mic offer, he was trying to do me a favour.
Brad was waiting for the call from Soundelux.
It´s all big misunderstanding from my side.
So I would like to apologize to Brad&TransAm for what I have written earlier.
Sorry man!
