Greets all,
I'm considering getting a UAD-1 card and I've got a few questions:
* About how many plugins can it run at one time? I know each requires different amounts of resources but for example, how many Cambridge EQ's can be run at the same time?
It seems like their plugs, as popular and good sounding as they are, do eat up the DSP quickly.
* Is the Project pack card capable of running all the Studio pack's plugins?
UA is offering the Pultec EQ right now with purchase of the studio pack . very appetising!

That's probably your best shot. The Project and Studio packs are the same card - Only the software is different. So, both cards *can* run all plugs.
I wouldn't hesitate too long... :D
IMNSHO, even only ONE stereo instance of the Pultec, even without controls, is easily worth twice the price of the whole collection.
