Making rap and hip hop music. I am a bass-head. Thinking of what to get as far as monitor and headphones.

I bought this video card because in most forums and magazines they recommend AMD graphic cards .And it not disturb the audio with latency .
But I have problems with that the tracks in my DAW (REAPER) chops and sometimes freezes for about 5 sec.
What causes that ?

Is there option for microtuning in the latest vesion of EWQLSO Platinum ?. Similair to the 2004 ver. Gold .

I have purchased Mytek Stereo96 DAC, and connected it to my MOTU UltraLite mk3 Hybrid .
I was totally blown away by the improvement this little Mytek DAC gave in sound quality .
But the dealer says that ít's much better to combine Mytek with a PCI audio card . He recommended RME HDSP 9632 .
Is that a good choice ?
Does it exist any better alernative ?

I first discovered this forum several years ago when I was looking for my first mixer for live gigs. After some helpful advice from this board, I wound up going with a Yamaha EMX312SC powered mixer w/ a pair of 12 Yamaha cabs. I've been exceedingly happy with this combination.

Hey guys. I'm relatively new to home recording. I'm recording all my instruments either through midi or direct line-in. The only thing I'm tracking live at home is vocals. I bought an SM7b and I am using the Roland UA-55 Quad-Capture and the Cloudlifter to give the sm7 the gain it needs. Here's my question:

Cubase 5 - How to distinguish between a plugin and e.g. an EDITOR

I really really love recording on Cubase of which I have version 5. I've never tried making beats with it (I use FL studio) but I just started out with recording vocals. I am kind of a baby here, but we all once were, right?

OK, I want to just go patient with everything. I want to master playing with the most important stuff in Cubase 5...

Hi. I'm on a project I need to complete soon, but in a location where I can't have a collaborator with a voice coarser than mine. But there's not much of a difference needed, so what's the best I can do to get a slightly coarser voice which isn't robotic? I have tried singing lower and deeper but not much joy.
