Darker toned vocal mic to compliment NT1a and SP B1 $200?
Hi. I'm looking for a new vocal mic to record a mezzo soprano gospel singer (Aretha Franklin style) because I found my RODE NT1a and Studio Projects to be a little harsh and brittle on the top end.
I've narrowed my choice of mics down to these :-
MXL V67g
KEL HM-1
T.Bone RM700, Cascade Fathead 2, Nady RSM4 (same mic)
Shure SM57 or Sennheiser E840

HELP! Problem with clicks w/ Audio-Technica AT4040 Microphon
Hi,
I own an AT8040 condenser mic and have recently encountered a problem with clicks at 1-3 hz (approx), which are intermittent, but quite annoying. To isolate the problem, I kept the same signal chain and just swapped out different mics, which confirmed that source as the AT4040.
How to?; recording speaker + mic
Hi all I just made the account on this forum and I have a question...
I make calls using VoIP-Buster, a program which lets you call phone numbers all over the world using your microphone..
Most of these calls are important, and I would like to record them...
So that when I call somebody, I am able to record both my speakers and my microphone (I use a headset...)

MICROPHONE FOR RECORDING OF SYMPHONY ORCHESTRAS?
Greetings! I am a professional conductor who wants to get decent recordings of the orchestras I conduct when travelling. I had an Audio-Technica AT822 and a Sony DAT walkman, which did pretty well. I have replaced the SONY with a Korg MR1 and the microphone, unfortunately, was lost during travels.
