Just to step dangerously into the politically-charged Chinese microphone battlefield -

Does anyone know anything about this microphone? Is it an imitation/copy of another brand and model? If not, is it being sold through a US company? There doesn't appear to be a Studio Projects equivalent (the frequency response of their tube mike looks very different from this one).

Let's say you have 4 or 5 pieces of outboard gear that utilize S/PDIF and you would like to bring these units into your signal chain to a Pro Tools Digi001 or any other front-end that has only one input/output for S/PDIF? (and I'm talking RCA connections)

Whats hooking the d8b up to a computer. The best way of doing this will be through midi correct? I want to use all the faders for mixing after I'm done all my tracking. How well will the record buttons work when tracking.
