This is a studio setup configuration that I have worked out for my new studio.. Although i am not new to audio.. This is the first time I am setting up a studio all by myself (N' it happens to be for me! :? Please lemme know what i am missing on (I'd like that i've got it all rite though.. lol) :)

I'm looking up eggleston speakers and I'm wondering if any of you have had experience with those. What can you tell me about them? I realize they are designed better for mastering applications but I'm looking for that personal description.

The more detailed the better and preferably more info needed on the Ivy and Savoy series.

hey all just a simple question. Is there anyway of using RME Fireface 800 in conjunction with PT? Like using the PT software on its own.

If not can i record in Cubase sx3 and then mix in Pro Tools?

I was wondering what you think the best way is to record with portability? Im looking to have some sort of light weight recorder with a decent condensor mic to use w/ it. I want to start adding more atmosphere to my music and thought this would be a great way to bring everyday sounds into it.

Dell has a Promotion going for a Precision Workstation /w 2.8 DC P4, 160 GB sata HD and a free upgrade to 4 GB 667 MHz DDR /w Windows XP 64 bit.

My current Daw is a SC P4 3.2 GHz /w 3 GB Ram but running on std XP. And 1 gb of ram isn't really being utilized. I have an E-Mu 1820M as my audio interface.

Wooo, finally got a job. I'm planning to invest my money into a small, well rounded audio interface (on a budget). I know I've posted here before, maybe awhile ago, saying I was planning on getting one... But it didn't happen as soon as I thought.

I just purchased a (used) "Studio Technologies AN-2" comb filter to simulate stereo from a mono source.
