Alesis SR-16 into Digi 002

Hello all. I currently have a Digidesign 002 with a G5 iMac running Pro Tools LE. I'm recording an artist this week that is requesting to use their SR-16 drum machine. I'm not familiar with the particular machine (despite it being around forever). Am I just able to hook it's stereo outs into my Digi 002, create a stereo track in Pro Tools and record it?

Tascam 788 Help, No Sound after pre-master?

I got the Tascam-brand CD/RW Drive for the 788, and I'm having a problem with transfering the music data to the outboard drive. The SCSI connection is recognized, and I've tried all the valid SCSI IDs for the drive (reserving IDs 0 and 7, per the 788's manual). I always get the following result after a premaster:

so i am doing live sound and I'm about to mic a marshall half stack(fancy tan/brown tweed mesh) with a 57 in the top right speaker and the guitarist tells me it sounds better if you mic the bottom speaker because of the design/acoustics on the cab.

I didnt question him and just miked it on the bottom right.

Is there any truth to this?

Hi, Im Justin, and I've been looking for a good place liek this, and thankfully I found it (y). Anyway. I have been doing research for a while now, and I finally recorded a friends band today. As I'm new at recording, I was a little nervous, but hey...it happens anyway, Im trying to get better quality sound and I dont know where to go from here, heres what I have to start it off.
