Im having a -9073 error in PT LE 6.9.2. It says it's about the Hard Drive, it might be too fragmented or too slow. Tha thing is that this problem only happens with ONE particular session, I'm being able to run other sessions with more tracks and plugins without a problem so it's really pissing me off because Im not being able to mix this particular session.

I'm doing some cassette transfers for a client and I'm looking for some advice on purchasing a cassette deck. I've been looking at the Tascam 130 and a few Teac decks but I'm open to anything. I hear Nakamichi decks are the best. Basically I need a low noise, wide frequency range deck with very low wow/flutter. A deck with dbx NR would be a plus.

Any suggestions?

Do i need a computer to record. Right now i'm planning on what equipment i should get. I have a Yamaha DGX 505 keyboard and i'm looking for a digital mixer. I know i need mic i getting some dynimic mic and 1 or 2 condenser mic. Also i'm looking at some studio active monitors. Is there anything else i need besides cables? and do i have to have a computer to record? :D

I have an HP laptop with an athlon 4, 256 mb RAM, 1GHz.

My question is: With this setup will I be able to record with 7 or 8 tracks at the same time on the firepod? Id rather not spend the extra cash if I cant use all the tracks anyways.

Does anybody here use this DAW ?

Anyway, anyone have a suggestion for a vintage console with atleast 12 channels in the 1000-2000 range?

I recently recorded a session on Pro Tools 6.4 TDM with the session set up at 48k. I didn't realize that the Big Ben time clock was set to 44.1k. Does anyone know how to convert this session back? When the mix is dumped to a CD it plays back fast. I could dump it to a DAT and bring it back in at 48k, but isn't there an easier way?

I am just curious what you guys think.. Im talking a windows eviroment personaly, but mac guys feel free to chime in.
