joining CD tracks

hi people, most surely someone might have asked this, but here it goes again, it may help somebody:

is there any way to join two tracks when burning them into a CD? I mean, let's suppose I want to have a song finishing and the next one to "step" in right then (probably not the technical term) at the very same time, like so many, for ex, concept albums with songs altogether...

MS stereo recording and ms matrix decoding.

I am planning to buy a Sennheiser MKH 418S shotgun mic which records MS stereo. I am planning on using the mic with my Tascam DA-P1 DAT recorder which only has L/R XLR input and I read somewhere that in MS stereo records M signal to the L channel and the S signal on 2 other channels and later combine in post production to create the stereo sound file.

drum leveling

ok so i pretty much have the whole idea of recording the drums and everything, but my question is when putting the levels of each drum mic up on the mixer, generaly what are good levels to have everything at .. such as should snare generaly be at a lower volume then the cymbals, kick be louder than the snare.. if anyone can help me out i will greatly appreciate it. thank you in advance :)
