the more I use the world of digital the more I find myself asking, hmmmmm, I wonder how they would have done that before DAW's, etc.

One question in particular, here's the scenario:

Can someone help me understand. Which matters most?
The digital to analog converters or the bit resolution?
Mainly, going to CD or even CD-R.

I need a 16 channel snake. I was kind of hoping to get one off e-bay, but. I DO NOT want some cheap cable that is going to affect the sound.
Can anyone please tell me which good brand names they recommend?
Please, keep in mind I dont want any sort of bargin cable

I just got one from my friend who just had it sitting in storage. I'm too poor to go and buy a new 16 channel mixer. This is 10 times bigger, but I don't mind.

I just had my Radar Classic delivered to my door today and I am really excited! The only problem is that the "package" does not include the needed cables!

I am curious as to how many Radar customers here have had the same situation.
