Does anyone know of a nice mobo for a P4 without VIA? I was one the sight for ASUS and couldn't find anything!

I'm trying to figure out how to use a synth, and it's freakin frustrating as hell! It's a Korg X5DR, got it used. Before using it I did the factory reset, I think I messed up a bunch of presets, but whatever, I'll have more fun making my own sounds on there.

It has 10 buttons and like 50 FX and different functions... and the manual SUCKS

I'm planning on buying a cheap little studio, like the Lexicon Omega. I'll be playing all of the instruments, so I was just wondering what instrument I should record first. Drums? Bass? Guitar?

Can anyone point me to an online resource that walks through the process of getting digital audio from DAW to a web page?

As my nominal financial windfall (LOL) approaches I still consider my options. You guys have done a wonderful job talking me out of a Roland 24 track digital all-in-one. Unfortunately, still undecided in my PC vs Mac saga.

Hey all, quick question:

When putting samples into Pro Tools and mixing them within the drums, vocals, bass, etc.., is it better to keep them Mono or Stereo?

Does it all depend on how busy the sample is?

I'm thinking about building a Masteing Console together with gyraf audio(witch has designed my tube compressors and passive EQ).

I just picked up a copy dirt cheap (GC had one copy left and were blowing out old stock to make room for new stuff coming out at Winter NAMM), how about $9.99. That's right under 10 bucks. I have installed it but am still waiting for my response code from TC and haven't had any time to test it out.
