On to my question...

I do all my recording into Sonar 3 on my PC using two Delta 1010's. I have a Mackie 24-8 console and JBL monitors.

After reading posts on thick guitar sounds, I am interested in attempting quantizing. Can anyone provide some instruction in this area?

I recently heard that the Roland 2480s have really good, high quality mic preamp's but can't seem to find exactly what type of mic preamp's they have, or even if they are as great a quality as I've heard. Can anyone verify this? TIA

I have a room with wood ceilings and a wood floor. The walls, 2 of them are brick and two are sheetrock. Should I completely deaden the walls? when the walls are bare the room sound is "ok". But if i deaden the walls will that ruin the purpuse of the wood ceailing and floor. This is a room for drums btw

I keep reading them on many posts here, and I recently read it ain a Recording magazine article where it said "We recorded the drums into a 2 inch tape and then passed them on into the DAW"

I have a problem with EMI in my studio, it seems that it gets in the recorded audio signal, although I use very quality cables in my studio which are mogami finest cables, I still cant get rid of it, and I have noticed that whenever I turn off my computer screens the interference is gone.
Maybe it is grom my graphics but I dont think so.
Any sugesstions?

I totally understand where he is coming from, angry at being 'ripped off' by an all too common attitude nowdays of "I'll get all I can" or "maximizing profits."
