the one thing i hate abt digi 002 is that when i switch from one application to another it insults and say sorry pal the device is busy rendering services to other software so get rid of that application and then work. and as soon as i do it sometime it works with other applications and sometime i have to re-start my pc. it just get stuck i mean the digi 002 does'nt contact with the computer.

i'm using an emu e5000 ultra sampler with fatar master keyboard and external hard drive.
when using a sustain pedal to sustain a lot of notes the sampler is generating a digital bleeping sound.
i've tried different keyboard, midi cable and sustain pedal but it's still doing it. it also affects all samples, not just one.

I'm currently running PTLE with an 002 on a dual 1.25 Mac g4. I've been looking into getting Nuendo or Cubase and would like to run it off a PC.

i'm looking forward to record the first full lenght album for my band.We already have a demo, recorded track by track, but now, we want it to be recorded with all the members playing at the same time, as we now have music with open lenght sections, and also want the recording to sond more lively, as we were deceived by the demo, which sound dull.

This is not meant to be a personal cleansing or soul-search question, just a reality check. Please bear with me.

Hi there, the q is, if i want to have good low sound it has to be a 8"
but t get better mid sounds it should be 6", or at least that's what i've heared while tryin out as many monitors as i can.
So what is the really best choice b-tween them.
Or should i buy some full range speakers?(Twetter - Squawker - Woofer) and forget about two way systems.

Is there any need for a direct box when using active guitar/bass pickups? If so, why? Also, would this box most likely be passive?

I downloaded the Drumagog demo and I like the plugin , but the demo samples are cheap sounding. Does anyone have this plugin ...is the full thing worth the money? Is there a better way of replacing drum tracks with samples? The drum tracks I tried it on didn't have the best timing so it made them a lot worse and cheap sounding. probably user error.
