Great River MP-2NV or Universal audio 2-610
Forums
ok Guys, the budget is now available and I need to decide which preamps am I going to buy. Thanks to Kurt and some other useful members Ive practically narrowed it down to two pre amps, the Great River MP-2NV and the Universal Audio 2-610 tube preamps. My main clients are Rock, alternative, metal and hard core bands, lots of distortion, heavy drums, screaming vocals, the works!

Should I switch my AD'DA converters ?
Forums
I own 2 Aardvark Q10's which I use on my Dell computer. They have their own A/D converters rated at 24 bits 96khz. I keep reading the great raves the Apogee system )like the Rosetta) keep getting from everyone. They have the same sampling rate as the Q10, but an Apogee system cost like 3 tiems the price of the Aardvark Q10. Any of you have any suggestions ? should I keep my Q10's ?

How Do I use SAMPLERS?
Forums
Hey Guys..and Gals
I have tons of Samples...
How can I use those samples with say Acid or Nuendo.
I would like to be able to control the samples with my MIDI
controller, is this possible?
What O mean by that. Say I have a Sample of an entire Brass Section. Can I use my MIDI keyboard to play a composition using the Brass Sample?
