Has anyone heard these speakers. I'm looking for a pair of small 4" woofer speakers to give me tha car stereo perspective of my mixes. I'm currently mixing with Genelec 1031's and a pair of computer speakers. The KRK 4000's can be had very cheap online but I haven't been able to auditon a pair locally. Thanks.

Hey there! I am new to the boards. Looks like a bunch of great people. Now for my Question.

OK...I know someone is going to try and convince me that it is unnecessary, but here goes anyway...

Later this summer, I plan on "upgrading" my Cubase/32 to either Nuendo or Cubase SX, along with the VST System link to my current PIII 1GHz. I have been watching all the ANUS computer posts going around with the P4 1.6a chip, and all the great results that everyone is getting, but...

My setup right now consists of a roland mc 307, 80's vintage synthesizer, an MPC, and my creativeness (probably my most valuable tool). Oh, and several soft synths as well. I'm afraid i'm not getting the most out of my sound..soundwise. By that I mean that the sound quality isn't what i'm reaching for.

Is it beter to opt for a multi-dynamic signal processor with equalizers, compressors, gates, expanders etc all in one or to get one rack concentrated for compression only? As much as i love pluginsi'm the type of person who gets fed up when i can't get the results i'm looking for to the point i wanna murder the dude who sold me the plug in.
