so it seems like people here really love this microphone - particularly on kick drum.

i have a beta52a and beta91 and really really like both of them. can anyone compare or contrast the ATM25 to either of the Shure mics for me?

i have an opportunity to get the ATM25 for $100 (or maybe less). is that a good deal? should i advance on it?

Im an 18 year old who is trying to get an entry level setup while still holding great quality for my projects at a very cost efficient setup.

I have a Mackie 1202-VLZ3 12 channel mixer, with an AKG Perception 200 (discontinued) condensor mic, and I want to route that to my computer's audio hardware (Creative X-Fi Elite Pro) so I can do recording with Cubase 5. I know almost nothing about mixers and how to get them setup.

Hello everyone. I'm really hoping I can get some advice as my head has been spinning recently, so any help appreciated.
My current setup is as follows:

PC >> M-Audio Fast Track Pro >> Blue Bluebird Mic.

I'd like to get a decent 2.1 monitoring setup for my home theater in the living room. In the studio, I use K+H O300D's and I think they are awesome. I know the K+H's are far more expensive than the 2.1 setups listed below, but I'd like to know which one of these 2.1 setups are most similar to the K+H's overall neutral/accurate sound:

Tannoy Reveal 5A + TS8 or TS10 sub

1) going from "Realistic" Stereo Audio Selector - RCA Outs (not sure if balanced or unbalanced outs, cheapo from radioshack)

2) to BEHRH(*&$&($ Truth B2031A monitors - can accept XLR balanced or 1/4TRS unbalanced

What kind of cable would I want to buy?

Hello everyone, I have a Yamaha clavinova CLP- 230 piano which I use to pre-record music to play at shows for my wind ensemble. I have been using basic audio cables the ones with the red and white input and plugging them straight to mixcraft on my computer however when I start to play forte the sound becomes distorted.

Looking for some advice. I have an M Audio Fast Track Pro (PC). Using this with nTrack Pro. I'm sure somewhere this has been discussed but haven't found anything yet.

I want to switch to an iMac and have a multi-channel interface so that I can use a board as well as my keyboard and mouse. I like boards better. By the way, don't have a board yet either.
