SPDIF and External FX Question! :)

Hi! Okay I have a Firepod and a TC M300 that I want to use as External FX in Cubase! I hooked up the M300 Via SPDIF to my Firepod. I've tried the set the External FX Send and Return track in Cubase but I don't think I did it fine.
When I Insert the M300, there's no more audio playing on the track or it plays but completely DRY.

Somebody can help me out? Thanks

output splitter

I was using a friend's mixer to route my output signal to powered monitors as well as to a standard home stereo. My friend needed his mixer back. Is there any budget alternatives to listen route my signal to the monitors and to the stereo speakers? Somewhere around $50 USD?

Some kind of Y-cable?
Line-splitter?
Monitor management device?
Some kind of aux-box?

Releasing EP like Radiohead's 'In Rainbows'

Hi guys! I wish to maybe release an EP one day and was just wondering if there was a way to release it like Radiohead, where people can choose how much to pay as opposed to putting on the net for free, without it causing too much trouble. If anyone knows how you can do that it would be a great help if they gave me some advice. Cheers!

Mbox2 or Mbox2 Pro

I have been playing keyboards in bands and in my home studio for more years than I care to admit. tried the cheap road in recording. Had probs with a Tascam 2488 and now looking at Pro Tools. I am surprized to read that one big advantage between the PT Mbx 2 and the Mbx 2 pro is the addition of the firewire. This aspect doesn't make sense to me.
