rrr I'm having a Frustrating time with this. I can't seem to figure out whats going wrong. Adobe Audition will playback through the Profire2626 for a few seconds and then just cut out. Through the windows sound drivers playback works just fine. What's happening?

Two thumbs up. External mic better than the Mini Boss thing. This was an extra 100 bux but well worth it reccomed for anyone in ethe 300 dollar range. Batteries seem to die fast though

I have sound coming out from outputs 1 and 2 from my Hercules DJ Console RMX I have already tested the output sound and know that it is working correctly.

I used the two 1/4" aux outputs, each one to a channel on the mixer.

When the sound is playing through the mixer with both channel volumes up, the bass sound is completely cut!

I've had all of the Motif keyboards...tried the Triton models...many Rolands...and the Nord Electro.

I am about to purchase a Project Mix I/O. I requires a Firewire connection but my laptop does not have a fire wire port. Only USB. Can anyone tell me if I can buy any converters or cards.

Ok so I've been getting ready to build an ata flight style case for my live gear (mixer, processing, and amps). I'm torn between an all in one unit similar to the one below, and seperate ones. My problem with having the amp rack on the stage and not in front of me when mixing is that from time to time throughout the night I will find that my amp will PERIODICALLY clip for a quick second.

I have the opportunity to get either a used FJA modded Peavey Penta, or a new Orange Dual Terror. I really like the idea of the Dual Terror, it works, but the Penta with FJA mod seems like a good bang for the buck as well. What are your thoughts?

My girlfriend and I are trying to get her demo recorded. The only main problem that we are running into is our LOUD-ASS ROOMMATES. It is damn near impossible to do any serious recording with them in the house. I don't think that just asking them to be quiet would make much of a difference. They're all a bunch of drama queens and would just make a huge deal out of it.

I admit, I'm not fully up to snuff with it all yet. I'm still trying to understand what I should keep from the old days and what I should be adding.

My DAW setup is getting close to operation. Its not an easy process working this site, having a family and another job all at the same time, but I'm getting there, crawling or not!

My amp plays a local station at a disturbing rate... is there anyway to solve this? only happened when I have my amp over at my moms place.
