So I want a good soundcard for my PC. To record from Decks to PC. Mostly going to be using Wavelab. I will be recording Reggae, Dub, Dubstep, Hip Hop and Drum and Bass so Bass Heavy is a must. ANy help. Budget is up to £150 but could go higher

Okay, I was once told how to setup a compressor for rap fast vocals
to make it sound clear and stuff, but now I forgot how to :(

I don't know how to set it up, can someone tell me how the compressor
works in a really simpel way, like what is thres,ratio,knee,att,rel,gain and etc good for, and some tips to use in fast rap vocals :)

I am going out of my mind trying to solve my Mobilepre audio problem!

My problem is that whenever I record through Cubase SX3, Ableton whatever. I can hear clicks and within a few seconds
a horrible squelching noise takes over, I have to close out the program to get rid of it. this also happens if I listen to or watch something in Windows

Our church posts sermons online, and recently I've been pondering the codec I use. Currently it's 44.1KHz MP3, at 48Kbps CBR. Sermons work out at about 6MB per week (15 minutes or so in length).

I purchased a PreSonus firebox with Cubase LE 4, and I installed it on my windows vista OS, I got everything to work fine it's just that it seems that the input seems low, any tips on how to fix that and tips on how to use Cubase?

Hey guys, I have been recording in fruity loops and using guitar rig to model. So far I really like it, it's definitely easy and I can play in my dorm and get a cool sound. But what types of changes do you usually have to make to get yours to sit in the mix? Or do they tend to sit well as they are? How many tracks do you typically use for a heavily distorted chorus?

I need to get vocals to another level. I currently have no pitch correction capabilities. I'm running Cubase le4 - soon to upgrade to 5 which I know has a pitch corrector in it.
