Connected my new preamp to Alesis Multimix 16 USB but still getting a lot of hiss.I need a hiss-free recording?

Did some bass over tracking last night, I did not like the sound the bassist had gotten during drum tracking. The bassist brought a Conklin 7 string bass, nice instrument and this Aquilar box

Hi, is it possible to change tuning of guitar in real time using native instruments guitar rig? For example, want to learn song that is down a half step. I want to plug into guitar rig and tell it half step down and off I go. So, this needs to be in real-time. It doesn't look like guitar rig could do this, maybe not possible for processing reasons. Any other programs out there?

If You wanted to use an Outboard Processor such as a limiter or parametric EQ on a particular input position on a 32 Input Inline Console, how would you route the signal to and from the device. What would be the signal flow chart?

I'm thinking I can get a board such as the StudioLiveso I don't have to worry about buying separate pre's, etc. I also want to be able to use this board for a band I'm in.

Well, now i have in the studio a VR C12 and a UA 6176. before that i worked with the 414 and the api 3124 beautifully parting, but now I try to record a voice with the C12 and 6176 and the result is almost disappointing, also with the api and the Isa 428.

yesterday i was recording and i wanted to add a effect like reverb etc but i dont want to effect the latency.

Is there any websites that facilitate selling or transferring digital album sales besides Tunecore and Catapult (which distribute to iTunes, Amazon, etc)? I use ccnow.com to process credit cards but they don't facilitate downloading.

Hey guys I'm a newb and have recently been researching to build a studio. Im going digital simply because it requires less equipment, but i love the warm analog sounds on my records. Do yall have any suggestions for equipment that i can use that is pretty affordable.
