and need to make an attenuator in the chord to get a
useable level signal without distortion .

We havent had a listen in to our performances for some time
and i would hope our musicianship is improving, and of course
hear the crap that needs cutting ..

Last week I recorded an old school jazz band, I know them well
Sax/clarinet, piano, bass, guitar/banjo, drums/congo

But this time they played outside,
lovely warm evening, but
occasionally some wind
recorded ortf with pair oktava mk012 card

In a couple of weeks, I'm doing some sound reinforcement for a choir. They have requested t as last year apparently there were complaints they couldn't be heard. My experience in outdoor sound reinforcement is with bands, which is obviously close miccing etc...

I have a Yamaha mg166c-usb 16 track mixer and i would like to run it through logic pro 8 so that each channel is assign to the mixer in the software so i can record live instruments and vocals will you share step by step lesson in logic to make that happen thankyou.

I have recently recorded a christmas CD for a school choir. During it I recorded a track with a soloist. I used an AKG 414 on the vocalist so I could bring her up in the mix (I did "live" mixes) and on this track she completely overpronounces a "t" try as I might I haven't been able to eq it out - does anyone have any ideas what I might try?

when i record the sound Wavesthat are produced are limited to -8db even if i scream down the mic it won't go past -8db and it distorts the audio aswell please can some one help me!

Hello my names Aaron and I'm brand new to this forum. I've been trying to add movie samples to my Pro Tools sessions by recording from a DVD player to Pro Tools. The DVD player has a coxial output on it and I had the understanding that would work the same as S/PDIF. I've tried using the RCA cables from the DVD player to the S/PDIF in on my MBOX2 but nothing seems to be working.

I have a audiobox usb, and your not supposed to hook up an active instrument into the front instrument input, but a "line" input, but, i have a Boss multi effects pedal for my guitar, and sense it has an onboard preamp, i cant plug it into the from connections as is.. or, can i? just wondering what i need to do :)
