Firebox problem
Forums
The first time I hooked it up, it worked fine, but now it won't let me select an input to record. I know that my computer is reading the firebox, but for some reason when I go to select my input, it just shows the firebox, but won't show any inputs. Im using Sonar 7, and I've updated my fireware, installed new drivers etc. but nothing is working.

can anyone recommend a reputable DAW building company?

Hello RO
The day has come. I have to say goodbye to my current, tweaked, retweaked and tweaked again DAW pc. I do not think I can take one more mix using this machine freezing, crashing and killing my workflow.
MIDI tempo change?
Forums
Ok.. I'm not so good with MIDI, I admit. I programmed drums for a song and it is about 2 bpm too fast. I used the key editor in nuendo 3 to program them. I tried changing the tempo track and the grid changed, but not the MIDI notes. Theres no clear way on changing the tempo in the key editor or in any of the quantize menus. Any ideas?

RME Fireface 800 questions
Forums
Hey,
I'm finally getting time to start working on my new studio. Ya! Ten years has passed since I upgraded from PT mix.
I'm using a Fireface 800 (oo la la) and Sonar 8 loaded into the new Rain ION 64 Octo Core, 16 gig of ram Vista 64. This system was tested and tweeked specifically for Sonar 8 Producer by Cakewalk. This should be fun.

Need a new amp, and your help
Forums
I currently use a Marshall AVT 50, it's just not pulling its weight anymore. The tone I get is airy and feels like it doesn't have any chunk to it. I want an amp that was built from the ground up for quality, and not built to be the loudest. I will be using it primarily for recording, so wattage and/or volume isn't really a concern of mine.

Does anyone know if the Lemo connector for the DPA 4023 & Shoeps CCM series are interchangeable?
By this I mean can DPA 4023 cables be used with the CCM and visa versa?

what is wrong? I get glitches!
Forums
I've got a Juli@ sound card and have always recorded with it using synths through audio cables, just the regular stuff, but I've had for quite some time a problem of a certain glitch in the sound (a scratching type of sound) at random parts in my recording.
