Firebox problem

The first time I hooked it up, it worked fine, but now it won't let me select an input to record. I know that my computer is reading the firebox, but for some reason when I go to select my input, it just shows the firebox, but won't show any inputs. Im using Sonar 7, and I've updated my fireware, installed new drivers etc. but nothing is working.

Mackie CFX16 MKII 4 Bus Mixer 16 Channels with digi 002 rac

i started working out of my buddies studio and he has a Mackie CFX16 MKII 4 Bus Mixer 16 Channels and use Cake Walk Sonar for recording, and i am a Pro Tools guy, i was wondering how i would be able to hook up my digi 002 to his Mackie without interrupting his wiring and having to re-wire every time i use the studio ?

RME Fireface 800 questions

Hey,

I'm finally getting time to start working on my new studio. Ya! Ten years has passed since I upgraded from PT mix.

I'm using a Fireface 800 (oo la la) and Sonar 8 loaded into the new Rain ION 64 Octo Core, 16 gig of ram Vista 64. This system was tested and tweeked specifically for Sonar 8 Producer by Cakewalk. This should be fun.

Need a new amp, and your help

I currently use a Marshall AVT 50, it's just not pulling its weight anymore. The tone I get is airy and feels like it doesn't have any chunk to it. I want an amp that was built from the ground up for quality, and not built to be the loudest. I will be using it primarily for recording, so wattage and/or volume isn't really a concern of mine.

my new rig that i'm excited about and simply want to share
