My question is, What should I be looking for in a firewire card for My Digi 002?

Asus Mohterboard
P4 3ghz
1 gig of ram
2 X 160 gig hard drives

I wanna hook up 2 multi-channel units to my 002R. Maybe one of you fine people can explain this me. thanks

Digi 002 seems good to me

Hello all. I currently have a Digidesign 002 with a G5 iMac running Pro Tools LE. I'm recording an artist this week that is requesting to use their SR-16 drum machine. I'm not familiar with the particular machine (despite it being around forever). Am I just able to hook it's stereo outs into my Digi 002, create a stereo track in Pro Tools and record it?

I'm new to Pro Tools and just received my new 002R with 6.9 and a new G5 2.5 (Panther) w/ 2x1gb sticks and a Glyph GTO50-250 Hard drive. Pro Tools 6.9 was installed in the G5 by the Dealer I purchased the computer and the 002R from.

I just aquired Samplitude and I'd like to start using it with my current rig (using a digi002). For whatever reason, Samplitude is recognizing the MIDI from the digi, but it's only recognizing a Soundblaster driver for audio i/o. Does anyone have a possible solution to this?

I had a dual 1.25 and a 002 but came across a Quicksilver and a 001 from a friend of mine for close to nothing because he was upgrading.

I'm thinking of buying a digi 002R to go with my new G5 and Logic Pro. Do Digi 002R and Logic get along ok? What's the performance like? Crash much?

ive run into some problems using my 002 console with my friends XP machine (they wonder why i would rather use our G5?). ok so here is what its doing, tell me what you think, cause my brain is fried after futzing with it all night trying to record a 3 minute guitar part.

I am considering a leap from my current DIGI002 Rack to an HD based system. I tend to record full bands which means I frequently use all 18 inputs at the same time on my DIGI002. I have some great mic preamps and A/D-D/A converters and I just hate the idea of using the DIGI002 converters.
