SO I am going to buy a keyboard, a synth... lets say I really like some of the preprogrammed sounds, or even make my own sounds on the keyboard, can someone please tell me how I go about hooking this up and recording it through my 001. Basically the chain of hooking up a keyboard to my Pro Tools so I can record whatever I play...

I dont know if this is possible but maybe someone can help/.

I have drum tracks laid out the dont sound that great - I wanted to know if there is a way that I could take the snare drum track (or any track for that matter) and use that track to trigger a drum sampler such as battery - or even bfd.

If any on e know of a way to do thi splease let me know -

I am having some funny problems with my midiverb 4. It powers on and looks to be fine but I can't get very much signal level through it at all. Granted led meters are not perfect but if I run it through my effects loop from a Peavey SR 2400 board and crank the levels to "10" the Midi verb barely registers its getting any level.

i am gonna buy a midi keyboard for my home studio in the price range of 300$ i really love the Grand piano sound, variations of piano sounds, organs, pads and want also to work with it on software synths such as Absynth. also i want it to be good enough to use on stage concerts.

I want to use my bass as a midi trigger - to trigger trilogy. What type of hard ware do i need to get for the bass I know that these midi pickups seem to work pretty good, but is there any other hadrware i need to get other than the pickup?

So i got my new M-Audio radium midi controller keyboard...

I made a beat last night and exported it. Before I listened to the mp3 I clicked on midi out and it said preparing for midi export and can not be undone. I still have the beat pattern it is all in one channell with no sound. The mp3's do not play but are exported. My real question is how can I save this beat to it's original pattern and re export it if possible.

How do would I complete this setup?

Ive been using Sonar 2XL and keeps locking up.. so I decided to try Cool Edit Pro.. Ive got it up and running, but I cannot for the life of me send Midi commands to my Korg M1 From my Casio WK-3000 thru Cool Edit pro... My Midi setup works Great with Sonar .
