Need help starting music studio...
All right, I am going to be setting up my music studio so I can record guitar, both electric and acoustic, piano, both MIDI and regular piano maybe, and vocals. I want to have capabilities to record drums but won’t need enough inputs to record all at once, just enough inputs to handle the mics for recording drums. I need help in deciding which way to go with recording.

API, UA210, Great River MP2NV pre's in classical music?

I mostly do pop, rock, hard rock, jazz, country etc but I do have a project of classical music coming up. I know the API 3124+ and UA pre's would be great for the rock stuff but how about classical? I have the MP2NV which sounds great but I need more channels.
Yamaha DM1000 digital mixer for acoustic music
As I'm in the market for a new mixer the specs of this one looks quite intersting. Anyone here got any experience with this mixer recording any sort of classical music?
'Classical' mics in rock music.
Hi everyone
I'm just wondering if people here use the 'standard' classical mics for rock music.

Choral Music at. the Superbowl?
Not sure if anyone watched it, but there was a nice moment during the pre-game show where the combined four choirs of the American miltary performed the National Anthem. (Yeah, no wailing, improvising, endless "interpretations" this year. it was "no surprises and right down the middle, content-wise.)

Control Surfaces and Classical Music
Up until very recently, I was addicted to the control surface. Any automation was done via 9 smooth faders and FX automation with the twist of a knob.
