Tascam US 1641 problems with Ableton Live

If anybody have any suggestions that would be fantastic, I seem to have exhausted every avenue!

I'm using the Tascam US 1641 and Ableton Live.

I am not permitted to post URLs here as of yet due to site restrictions, but if you do a quick Google search you can find the product on the Tascam site along with the list of drivers/firmware that I have been struggling with.

Exported .wav file from Tascam issues uploading to the web only (background noise)

If I upload a track to the web (Sound Cloud, MySpace ..etc..) I get this warbling-like background noise in my track. I cannot figure out why. :/ This "warbling" sound is not present on my 8-track, or when I export my recorded tracks to the computer. The .wav file (or if I export the .wav file as I constant mp3 at 320kpbs) recording sounds fine.

Tascam DR-100: Built-in speaker not functioning?

Hi colleagues:

I just purchased a Tascam DR-100. Seems like a good unit as I'm going over the manual and doing some first tests. But my manual didn't come with a troubleshooting guide to answer this potential issue: The built-in speaker doesn't seem to work. Headphones work fine, though.

I double-checked the following:

best preamp: MOTU 896HD, Tascam DR680, ROLAND R44?

Hi guys,
I need to record piano recitals with 3 or 4 Audio Techinca mics. I use MOTU 896HD with Macbook Pro and Logic Pro, but it isn't really a "portable" solution. So I wonder if Tascam DR680 or ROLAND R44 could be a good solution. In your opinion MOTU's preamps (and generally the recording quality) are better then DR680 and R44, or not? Quality is similar or not?

Tascam 1641 noise issues

Just spent a couple of days recording a singer and piano (Schuman Song cycle).

Recording consisted of Decca tree with a stereo pair of cardioids for the middle to give a little more control over the amount of ambient sound and some spot mics on piano and over singer.

All sounds fine with a nice open sound using 1641 into Audition 3 at 24 bit 96k, but.
