Mastering recorded voice over - words for software
Hello,
I am pretty new to sound recording and especially editting. I need to prepare samples of separate english words for a teaching software.
I already made some recordings of the VO talent with ZOOM H4, 96kHz, WAW. The recording consists of separate words.
My voice is too big. (Won't sit in the mix)
Hi! Been reading, working, recording, and greatly increasing my skills as a recordist.
But I'm having a problem. I'm doing a cover of Stairway to Heaven, and I can't get my lead vox to sit in the mix. It's either too loud or too soft.

Best mic for my voice?
Hey guys, this is a long shot, but I thought I'd try. I'm looking to buy one mic for a home studio. I'd like to stay under $1000k, or worse-case scenario not much over it. I've read through forums and listened to many shoot-outs. My main concern is I want something that really works well with my voice.

Best Mic for Voice-over recordings
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the audio world and I want to record some voice-overs and videos spending between $ 50-100.
The best options I found so far (maybe I'm wrong):
1) An USB mic such as "Blue Microphones Snowball USB"
2) A normal mic, such as "Shure SM48-LC Vocal Dynamic Microphone"

Fairly accurate voice recording?
Hi all, Nothing super professional going on here but I want to be able to record my voice fairly accurately. I know nothing about recording so I hope you can advise me on a beginner level. Is the mic the most important consideration and place to put your money?

Recording a small vocal ensemble with voices and acoustic guitar, need some help.
Hi folks, I'vedone a few searches but don't seem to find quite what I'm looking for inexisting threads. Here's my situation. I'm going to record a group of singers accompanied by acoustic guitar. They are going to sing Christian songs in the Ojibwe langauge.
If anyone is good at pitch-correcting vox, and wants to make a few bucks
Hi,
An acquaintence of mine found a vocalist for his band, and apparently this guy is like most pop stars today, and can't sing in key. So, they are in need of some pitch correction. I have neither the time nor the patience, so if anyone around here has the tools and the know-how, and wants to make a few (and I do mean a few) dollars, send me a pm.
