Hello, sorry if this isn't the right category for my question.

I have a track with the dry signal out of recorded guitar and I'm using a virtual amp head with an impulse as a cabinet.
My question is what is the proper place to use any effect plugins (reverb, delay etc), as insert or send effects?

If you've read a few recent posts of mine, I'm really interested in emulation. Apollo 16's would be the perfect product for my next challenge. I need 32 DA's and two Apollo's 16 cascaded would do it! But, there now seems to be a glitch in my method of madness. I'm on PC and prefer MADI for this.

is it possible to change levels between -10 and +4 with transformers?

Hey everybody I thought that I would finally share some of the work that I have been doing on a home studio in Winston Salem, NC of the past couple of years. I will say that the process has been quite the learning experience. This has been a labor of love and I hope that I will have the opportunity to do this again one day.
