M-Audio powered studio monitors
Hello everyone,
I am starting out with a small studio setup and I would like some assistance with the chioce studio monitors.
I heard of Behringer Truths, M-Audio BX8's - any suggestions as to what other good powered monitors are available in this price range.
Thanks and regards,
Deon

I'm tired of turning off the monitor everytime I want to record electric guitar.
Would of of those flat monitors help with that. I'm trying to convince my wifre that I need it.

Yamaha Monitors - Model Confusion
Can someone comment on the lineage of Yamaha NS10 Series and how they compare with their brethren?
My understanding is that NS10's is no longer sold new
NS10M are still available new but are being replaced by the MSP10. Are these new models any good?
Also I have a pair of NS670's, which look similar to the NS1000's. Any comments?

JBL monitors
Hey,
I have the oportunity to purchase JBL N26II speakers for a pretty good price ($200 CAN). I'm looking for a pair of monitors for a basic home recording setup, ie: few mics, PC w/delta, Cubase).
Wondering if anyone has any experience with these? Would I save myself trouble by picking up Truths or similar MAudio nearfields?

Need power amp for New monitors!
Ok guys I decided to go with the tannoy Reveals (unpowered)for my first set of monitors. I went with the unpowered because I plan on getting a second pair of monitors later, just to give me that second listen. I might just use my home stereo speakers in the meantime. Anyway what do you guys recommend for a amp for these baby's. Probably looking to spend around 400 bucks.
