Dealing with a lot of vocal tracks.

Forums

I am in a session where I have numerous vocal tracks. Beside the lead vocal there are two tracks for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass parts for a Worship song. In regards to mixing, I will pan each group in a different spectrum from left to right. However I am wondering, are there any general guidelines you could suggest in regards to EQ, fader levels and compression.

vocal mixing for boomy/chesty voice

Forums

No matter what I do it sounds to bassy. Besides using a HP filter at 80Hz, What other frequencies are generally troublsome for a soft vocal?
