Need help dealing with EQ happy client

I have been working witha rock band for a while now. These guys are way above par as for a players. The tunes are great. Its all great I think. So, the problem is this. They are convinced that you have to add like 12 db shelves to low end on all the drum channels and bass channels. And they think you have to add 15 db of hi end to all channels.

advise on this mobo/cpu/memory upgrade

After pondering my current setup and doing some research, I am considering upgrading my rig to the following specs. Does anyone have any advice or opinions? Will the retail fan be sufficient, does thermal grease really help? This will go into an Antec PerformancePlus case with 4 cooling fans. 1 front, 1 side and 2 back. I have an Aardvark Q10 soundcard, if that matters.

questions about a producer of my songs

I've completed 11 songs and planning to record a demo. I'm not the best guitar player so I called a person to play for me by the hour. I told him we need to get together and go over before going to the studio. He mentioned co-writing and wanted to record at a friends studio. I explained I only needed a player for some rhythm. He mentioned being the producer of my songs.

GrooveAgent vs. Stylus?

Hi!
I wonder if there's anyone around with experience from both GrooveAgent vs Stylus?
I've been to a demo of Stylus and I was impressed...
I need a fast way of adding good drums on demo songs, and I wonder what would be the best choice?
So I would be grateful if you could comment how you think they sound and how "player-friendly" they are.
