this is not really audio related BUT what's the best firewire card to get for importing DV for editing? PC of course, using adobe premiere, etc.

I've seen a lot of talk about the Lucid AD's and would like to know in what "category" they are...

Also any users of Lucid Genx6's? Any comparisions of these with the Aardvarks?

I just received a Soundelux U95s (many thanks David...) Tried it on my voice against my prefered mic, an AKG C12-A, and the U95s was somewhat smaller and less airy. I was never more than 10" from the mic, sometimes a bit closer. (On the C12-A I'm right on top of the mic...) What is the best technique for the U95s mic on male vocal?

I have a Roland XP-30, without a manual.
I'm trying hard to understand how the program and bank changes work in order to sequence headache-free. I'm almost there, as someone sent me the MSB and LSN numbers on a different UBB. That was great, except that now, I'm getting contradicting opinions on how to set up the XP-30.

Does anyone use this product?
It seems like Fostex, Lexicon and Korg are very low on the totem pole for DAWss to buy. :cool:
