PreSonus Firpode vs Mackie Onxy 1640

Ok, I've been researching different hardware and I'm still having a hard time trying to decide what to go with. I'm liking the PreSonus Firepod. If I had two of these linked together, I could track 16 chanels of audio (my goal is 12... full drum set and some scratch tracks).

My question is, if using the two Firepods, how could I set up multiple headphone mixes for the musicians?

anyone user comments on PreSonus firestudio?

Hi all

I've been happily using my PreSonus firepod for almost 2 years
But I'm tempted to buy the Firestudio, because it has zero latency mixing / direct outs and ADAT.

The weird thing is the firestudio is already for sale,
but the PreSonus site doesn't even mentions it.

Does anyone already have any user comments?

Cheers

PreSonus

Anyone used the PreSonus TubePre? I hear that it is a decent little pre for those on an extremely low budget, especially considering the fact that it is so easy to change the tube for a little more variety. I know it's no Avalon, but it IS cheap and worth looking into for my particular situation.

Now this leaves the question of what manufacturer(s) make really nice 12AX7s?

Quick questions (ASAP!) - PreSonus DIGIMAX LT

I record into a Delta 1010 (8 inputs and A/D converters). For the past while I have been using an old SM/Nady PR8 8 preamp unit. It currently retails for the bottom dollar price of $100 USD. As you can no doubt imagine, the effect has been less than stellar.

As a result, I am thinking of picking up a PreSonus Digimax LT.
