help with beat creating/editing software
Hey all,
I am a bit confused about a few things..
I have been using fruityloops (fl studio) for some time, along side acid pro 3 (don't laugh), recycle and then importing all of this into Sonar 6PE. It all works very well, but it seems a bit long winded.

Audio Softwares - Sound all the same?
In another post in here in RO, someone said the sound quality is not in the in the Software you use( Pro Tools, nuendo, cubase, Audition, sonar) that the real diference is in the hardware.

Software for making music for video + games (sequencers)
So heres the deal. I use Cubase Studio 4 for most of my recording as far as bands and live instruments. As far as midi instruments, making beats and making whole songs with virtual instruments, I've tried Reason and have an unregistered full version of Fruity Loops.
Phase Scope Software
Does anyone know of any good phase scope software that could work with Sonar 6?
Im having trouble finding any, or even an actual phase scope itself.
Thanks.

Looking for good Noise Redux Software, Tips on using it
Hi,
Finishing an album, needing a little bit of Noise Redux on a few tracks, and it seems like when I use the software on the programs I have, I either dont get response or I feel like it compresses it rediculously. Someone help with new software suggestions and tips? Thanx-

Inexpensive software for limited editing
I bought an Edirol R-09 flash recorder a month ago and it has been a big hit around our house. My wife and daughter use it all the time for recording music lessons and practice sessions.

What software should I use?
I'm working on a project at work in which I'll need some sort of software that will allow me to take a wav file and chop it up, distort it, basically screw with it in every way possible. I'm talking about adding static, changing it from stereo to mono...things like that. This is for work and will be on the company's budget, so price is not an issue.

Basic Software
I'm looking for a piece of software (Mac Based) that will do basic things. I'd like to edit EXISTING audio tracks (mp3's). I don't need to create anything. In short, I'd like a program that will allow me to create my "mash-ups" of songs. Using the waveforms to cut portions of songs looping them or moving them around. And changing the BPM's is very important for mixing the songs together.
