I'm wondering if there is a website or something of that nature where I can download multitrack sessions of popular artists? I'm not asking to download it illegally, I would actually like to pay for it, however I have not found such a thing...Thanks for the help!:-)

Perhaps wrongly titled. Perhaps I mean 'creating room so the tricks don't have to be used'.

What I am talking about is queries like the recent query on recording vocals and getting that warm, fat sound.

The answer given was to triple the vocal, one left, one right, one centre.

hey forum, i just invested in a mac, and I'm loving the computer but I'm not sure how to go about a recording interface with it. ive done work for a long time doing "off the soundcard" recordings and working with adobe audition, but its about time to start doing some better quality work, I'm studying theatre and sound design is my focus so eventually this kind of thing will become a career.

I are a engineer (electrical) played in a band in the 80's. So my sons have picked up guitar, drums and vocals, added two friends and boom they have a band. Played a high school gig it was great.

Now I want to capture the live events and record it has to be easy and quick and light.

I'm new at all of this, and would appreciated some help/advice as I'm utterly confused.

Hello, my name is Rob. I'm a frontman for a band called KATALYST in Bradenton, FL. I am trying to tackle the recording myself. Not only because studio time is expensive, but I really enjoy all things surrounding music anyway, so I would love to learn about recording. Anyway, I have enough stuff to start. I have a full PA system, 24 channel mixer board, all mics, cables, etc.

i have a Zenith cabnet turntable. also a realistic lab-58 turntable. got to love hand me downs and garage sales. here is my problem. i dont want to go out and buy a new turntable when i own two already. i want to record my vinal on my pc to mp3. i have a preamp Inspire 1394. Fruity loops, Cubase sx3, i dont know how to work them properly though.

Just wondering what this is? I have heard a few things? And I just wanted to get the real deal?
I have heard that is was 3 mic's in a triangle like left---center---right. Not sure if thats right. Then I have heard something about come "in-coder" or something that puts all 3 signals together to create a stereo channel?
