Stereo drum micing
I finally can record stereo drums but need some advice on which specific mic to put where. I have anSM58, a Sennheiser e835, an MXL 990, and an MXL 991 condenser. I have an ATM 25 on the kick, so that's taken care of. Just trying to figure out which mics should be left and right, which one I should put on my rack toms, and if I should put one directly overhead or on the snare. Please help!

Drum Library Etc..
Could someone recommend me a sample library.. specifically drums and percussion. Mostly I will be doing replacement or enhancement of live kits. I have the Massey DRT trigger and run PT9.0.5 on an Intel Mac. Plenty of horsepower. I do not like the Structure freeware that came with PT and I dont want to buy their upgrade at this time.

RODE NT5s or NT1000s for drum overheads?
Hi everyone,
I can't decide in between a pair of NT5's or a pair of NT1000's for drum overheads.
I use overheads as the main mics, I place them to pickup the boom of the toms, not just the cymbals.
I'm looking for a big open sound.
The price difference is not an issue.

Need some advice on drum samples
Hey. I've recently been getting more and more into electronic music (electronica?) and I want to take a shot and blending it together with the traditional style of music I usually do (rock/alternative/acoustic). To be honest I'm really not sure what I'm looking for exactly, but if anyone can sort of point me in the right direction I would appreciate it greatly.
