Im running a Moog Little Phatty Stage 2 into my LA610 and from the 610 into my Yamaha 01V96 and Im getting a buzz. 2 weeks ago I wasn't...

The exact signal flow including cables is this:
Moog via Mogami TRS to Male XLR cable into the LA610's line input, out of the LA610's line output via Mogami Female XLR cable to TRS into my 01V96.

The unfortunate thing is that 64 bit drivers are yet to come for Mac users. They'll be here soon enough though, from what can be read on their web site.

I don't have the ability to try these two out, but I'm looking for a pair of great tube mic preamps, and was hoping someone on here could tell me the sonic differences?
So I can decide which one to purchase.

I know that those HDX cards are powerful but you can get a fully loaded UAD-2 Octo core for $5500 add an additional 2 for under $4000 (hardware only) and I don't know how much more power you will need.

I just bought the scarlett 2i2 and plugged it in for the first time last night. Im not sure how i feel about it so far but i am still trying to figure out if the quad capture is worth the extra money.

I have about $2,000 to spend on my interface / preamp, just unsure on what would be more beneficial... a UA LA610 Preamp / Compressor combo with a lower end interface (Firestudio Tube) or the new UA Apollo interface (which seems to have pretty good preamps anyways)?

Right now my only preamps I have are 8 Daking pre's.
Should I get another Daking Mic Pre IV or a Universal Audio 2-610, or is there something better?
