Drum mic mounts
I'm curious as to what people use for drum mic mounts. I am Micing kits with three e604's on the toms and a 57 on the snare, d112, overheads etc, but the mzh 504 mounts that came with the e604's stick the mic almost into the middle of the drum.
I'm considering two options right now, the mzh 604, and the Shure a56d mounts.

Sequenced drum assistance, please...
Well, I currently use FL Studio (fruityloops) to lay out all of my drums. This works pretty well, I like what I've built over the years. I don't actually use any midi interface, I just lay the hits out the way I wish and then construct patterns and a playlist of the patterns.

Help with Drum Programming
I am starting to do some drum tracks, and I have gotten to the point where the simple GM drums just aren't cutting it anymore.
I want to record electronica style drums (tr808 or 909 style). I have Cubase SX 2 and Soundfonts and a simple MIDI controller keyboard. Ideally, I would like to use a general midi drum map, as simpler is better.
