Drum Sample Library
I have Sound Replacer but dont really have a drum sample library. Are there any creme de la creme, popular drum sample hit libraries out there?

High quality pop/urban drum samples
I'm looking for some clean, modern sounding, high quality drum samples for pop/urban type production.
Does anyone have any experience with ModernBeats.com? Any other big companies and alternatives you've found reliable in quality would be great as well.
Thanks.

I have drum samples
yes, i have drum samples (WAV format)
I wanted to know what program i can get to put those samples in and make songs. I tried drumsite out but it's kind of weird and laggy. I love how you use it buuuuuut every time I want to hear a part of the song i have to hear it from the start.
Anyone know of something similar to drumsite?

Drum Mic Placement Help has Arrived WITH SOUND CLIPS
EDIT: Here are some sound clips. I posted them down in other replies, but a couple people said I should move them up here. So...
Absolutely shocking drum bleed!
My band was in a studio yesterday recording drums for our EP (we're doing the rest in my studio).
The drum bleed is absolutely overpowering.
We're doing fast heavy metal so a clear cut drum sound is essential.
Noise gates cannot tame this.

any suggestions on a good sequencer or drum machine?
i was wondering if anyone could suggest a good sequencer/dr machine for recording on a DAW (non-computer based - i'm using a Roland VS model). i was thinking of staying in the $1000-new range.

sorry, another drum thread
Hello all- I am a new member to this site, though I have been reading it for a while. My question pertains to recording drums. Recently I was allowed access to gigantic old military base room that is about 150 ft long and 75 feet wide with about 40-50 ceilings- its all concrete.

Micing a snare drum for use with jazz brushes
Well, I wish to rec the snare while playing it with brushes: since I am total new to the "Micing world", I will gladly accept any advice about the ways to get a good result
Actually, I tried it parallel to the ground, 3cm away from the snare: the result seem's decent to me, but I suppose the existence of some "old classic" way to this :)
thanks :)
